跨領域同好會:教育生態系的設計、決策與共創 ( 劉建成-台大創新設計學院服務推廣中心 )The Misfit Disciplines Club: Designing Educational Ecosystems Through Decision-Making and Co-Creation (Chien-Cheng Liu, NTU Outreach Center, College of Design and Innovation)

In this episode of The Misfit Disciplines Club, we explore the theme of “decision-making and co-creation” with Chien-Cheng Liu from the Outreach Center at the National Taiwan University College of Design and Innovation. Drawing from his observations at SXSW EDU 2026, Liu shares emerging perspectives on the future of interdisciplinary education and collaboration.

The talk centers on two key ideas: decision intelligence and partner ecosystem design. As interdisciplinary education expands beyond offering courses or hosting events, educators are increasingly challenged to connect universities, industry partners, K–12 education, and diverse learner needs in more meaningful ways. This shift raises important questions: How can educational institutions make better-informed decisions? And how can cross-sector collaborations evolve from short-term partnerships into sustainable, mutually beneficial co-creation networks?

During the session, Liu explains how decision intelligence can help educators integrate data, actions, and outcomes to identify the key drivers behind effective curriculum design and organizational strategy. He also highlights the importance of ecosystem design, emphasizing that successful collaboration requires more than simple resource sharing. Instead, partnerships should be intentionally structured so that schools, industry, students, and educational organizations all gain tangible value from working together.

Through these discussions, the episode examines how interdisciplinary education can move beyond experience-driven initiatives toward more strategic decision-making and long-term systems-level co-creation.
